I'll soon be heading to Scotland to the Glenfiddich Fiddle Championship at Blair Atholl Castle. I am honored to be chosen and excited to go. There will be so many things to see: Edinburgh castle, the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama, Stirling castle, Scott Skinners final resting place in Aberdeen, perhaps Rosslyn Chapel, and, of course, Blair Atholl castle near Pitlochry where I will get to see Niel Gow's Fiddle . . . . . .if there were only more time before heading back to the States. I'll need to plan a second trip soon. I'm sure to be inspired to write a tune or two.
